Elad Walach
Chief Executive Officer
Elad Walach is a co-founder and CEO of Aidoc. He is an expert in AI with visionary business insights in the healthcare space. Since establishing Aidoc in early 2016, Elad led the company through 4 investment rounds bringing the total investment to $250M, drove the commercial availability of 20 product lines, created an install base of over 1,000 global hospitals while growing the company to over 400 employees. Elad began his career in the elite Israeli Defense Force technology program “Talpiot”. He led AI research in the Israeli Air Force where he initiated and managed several teams focused on machine learning and computer vision projects. Elad holds a B.Sc. in Mathematics and Physics from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, and has published multiple academic papers on deep learning.
Michael Braginsky
Chief Technology Officer
Michael Braginsky is a co-founder and CTO of Aidoc. He has advanced experience in medical image segmentation and visualization techniques. Since co-founding Aidoc, Michael has defined a comprehensive product roadmap applicable to over 75% of the most common acute pathologies in CTs, creating one of the largest annotated medical imaging databases in the world. Michael began his career in the elite Israeli Defense Force technology program “Talpiot”. Prior to Aidoc, he served as Head of an R&D department for the Israeli Special Forces, where he led the deployment of the ministry’s state-of-the-art vision technologies, supporting the systems in military operational setups. Michael holds a B.Sc. degree in Physics and Computer Science and a M.Sc. degree in Computer Science (specialized in Medical Image Processing) from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem. He speaks three languages (English, Hebrew, and Russian) and lectures at the International Biomedical Informatics Program at Bar-llan University.
Guy Reiner
VP R&D
Guy Reiner is a co-founder, Vice President of Research and Development and GM of the Tel-Aviv Branch at Aidoc. Guy has extensive experience in high performance computing, mathematical and algorithmic research, software research and development. Since co-founding Aidoc, he has led the process of regulatory approval (CE and FDA) of Aidoc’s product lines and has established a team of world-class AI developers who are now able to release abnormality detection solutions for new pathologies every three months. Guy began his career in the elite Israeli Defense Force technology program “Talpiot”. Prior to Aidoc, he led various algorithmic and software research projects in the Israeli unit 8200 - the IDF's leading cybersecurity unit. Guy holds a B.Sc. in Mathematics and Physics from The Hebrew University and an M.Sc. in Mathematics from Tel Aviv University, both with the highest honors.
Gal Yaniv, M.D, Ph.D
Chief Medical Officer
Dr. Yaniv is a co-founder and the Chief Medical Officer at Aidoc contributing his expertise and knowledge to help in the continuing development of advanced, healthcare grade AI. A double graduate (M.D, PhD, cum laude on both) of the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology, Dr. Yaniv completed his radiology residency at Sheba, Tel HaShomer hospital as well as diagnostic neuroradiology fellowship at Yale school of medicine and endovascular neurosurgery fellowship at Mount Sinai Hospital. He is currently Director of Endovascular Neurosurgery at Sheba – Tel HaShomer hospital. He has published in numerous scientific publications focusing on basic science, radiology and public health, including a recent publication at the New England Journal of Medicine, and has presented in various scientific conferences worldwide. As a “Talpiot” alumni, he participates in the “Talpiot Medical Leadership Program” at Tel HaShomer Hospital.

Tom Valent
Chief Business Officer
Tom Valent is the Chief Business Officer at Aidoc. He is in charge of promoting Aidoc’s exponential growth by creating go-to-market strategies, tailoring Aidoc’s advanced technologies to various clinical settings and pain points of medical institutions, and leading collaborations with the technology ecosystem in the healthcare industry. His experience entails market entry & growth strategy, venture capital, and management of client and partner relationships. He graduated from Tel Aviv University with a MBA in Finance and a Joint Law Degree. Previously, he worked as a management consultant for Boston Consulting Group, one of the top global management consulting firms, as well as a senior associate for KPMG, one of the Big Four auditors.
John Danahy
Chief Revenue Officer
John Danahy is the Chief Revenue Officer at Aidoc where he leads the GTM strategies for direct & partner sales as well as revenue operations. He has been a part of the evolution of healthcare technology since the mid 90s and at the forefront of several watershed transformations including the advent of PACS from teleradiology and film, the rapid adoption of Electronic Medical Records from the dark ages of paper file jackets, as well as the conversion to healthcare consumerism through patient engagement from the days when a birthday email from a provider was hard to achieve and a miracle to receive. Now, as a leader within the talented ranks of Aidoc and a passionate advocate for his customers, John is once again supporting a tectonic shift within healthcare as Artificial Intelligence technology enhances our standards of care for the most complex clinical use cases, supporting the abilities & talents of our communities’ best doctors & their care teams.
Arvind Kadaba
Chief Financial Officer
Arvind Kadaba is the Chief Financial Officer at Aidoc. He joins Aidoc with 15 years of finance experience, most notably as CFO of Parsley Health, a tech-enabled holistic medical practice, and VP Finance at Cedar, a healthcare payments business. He helped raise a Series C round at both companies, totalling ~$150M of venture debt and equity and partnering with top-tier funds like A16Z and Kinnevik. He has extensive experience in strategic finance, fundraising, investor relations and capital budgeting. Prior to being a finance operator, Arvind spent the first 10 years of his career in various roles in finance, including investment banking at Morgan Stanley, private equity at Lindsay Goldberg and as a research analyst at Citadel's Global Equities business. Arvind has a BA in Economics from Columbia University and an MBA in Finance from Wharton.
Ariella Shoham
SVP Marketing
Ariella Shoham is the Senior Vice President of Marketing at Aidoc where she defines the company’s marketing strategy, leads global awareness, drives content creation and orchestrates demand generation and lead acquisition activities. Her marketing experience spans over 20 years, ranging from startups to public companies and includes the whole gamut of marketing activities. Prior to Aidoc, Ariella was part of the Senior Management Team at Gemalto – a leading provider of cybersecurity solutions – where she was Sr. Director of Global Marketing for the software monetisation division. Ariella holds a Bachelor’s degree in East Asian studies from The Hebrew University in Jerusalem and an MBA from the Interdisciplinary Center in Herzliya.
Idan Bassuk
VP AI
Idan Bassuk is the Vice President of Artificial Intelligence at Aidoc. Idan has extensive experience in AI, software engineering and management of large-scale technological projects. Since joining Aidoc at its inception, Idan led the company’s efforts to develop and scale algorithms for detection of life-threatening findings in medical images. Idan is responsible for the architecture of Aidoc’s unique infrastructure and methodologies for medical AI at scale. This infrastructure is the engine that enables Aidoc to build solutions for new pathologies every two months. Idan began his career in the elite Israeli Defense Force technology program “Talpiot”, which he graduated with highest honors. Prior to Aidoc, Idan led international cutting-edge technological projects from the stage of a science fiction idea, and into successful products that won the highest Israeli technological award.
Shuli Edwards
VP Customer Success
Shuli Edwards is Vice President of Customer Success at Aidoc where she is responsible for increasing sustainable value for our customers. At Aidoc, customer success is built on three pillars – (1) customer understanding, (2) product-workflow optimization & training, and (3) value demonstration & value realization. Your customer success manager will become your main point of contact, your Aidoc expert, and your direct channel to AI knowledge. Your customer success manager really wants you to succeed and will help you enhance the value of AI in your organization. Shuli joined Aidoc in 2018, as employee 28, and built the customer success department at Aidoc, one of our core functions, from the ground up. Before joining Aidoc she worked in various analytic and product related positions at the Prime Minister’s Office in Israel. She holds a BSc and an MSc in Biotechnology engineering from Ben Gurion University in Beer Sheva.
Reut Yalon
VP Product
Dr. Reut Yalon is the Vice President of Product at Aidoc, leading Aidoc’s product group and the company’s product strategy. Since joining Aidoc, Reut and her team developed and commercialized dozens of clinical, FDA-cleared products that are widely used daily in healthcare centers around the world, based on a market leading overarching framework that enables rapid deployment of new products to the market. Prior to joining Aidoc, Reut held product positions in medical imaging start-ups, with a passion to build products from ideation to commercialization. Reut received her post-doctorate and PhD degree from the Weizmann Institute of Science, where she developed novel imaging methods for non-invasive prenatal clinical applications. A prolific scientist, Reut authored over 10 scientific papers and two book chapters.
Alexandar Boehmcker
VP Europe
Alexander Boehmcker is the Vice President Europe at Aidoc. Previously, Alex was for more than a decade the CEO of Telemedicine Clinic (TMC), a pioneering healthcare start-up that scaled into one of Europe’s largest and most respected imaging diagnostic groups. TMC’s team of over 300 sub-specialized radiologists and pathologists serve every year patients in 140 hospitals in five countries with high quality radiology and pathology reports. In 2017, TMC was acquired by the diagnostic group Unilabs. After a successful integration of TMC into Unilabs, Alex founded his company, Böhmcker Consulting which focuses on Digital Healthcare and Sustainability, prior to joining Aidoc. Alexander believes that both AI technology in healthcare as well as sustainable forestry can help to address significant challenges of humanity in the future. He is co-founder of the Spanish chapter of “Conscious Capitalism”. He is lic.oec. of University St. Gallen, Switzerland, and MBA (CEMS) from ESADE, Barcelona.
Demetri Giannikopoulos
VP Innovation
Demetri Giannikopoulos brings expertise in healthcare technology implementation, clinical workflow and care coordination optimization, and interdisciplinary team development to his role as VP of Innovation. Over two decades in the field of healthcare technology have shaped his highly collaborative and creative approach. He is active in the healthcare community and has served as an industry and patient representative on committees including the Coalition for Imaging & Bioengineering Research (CIBR) executive steering Committee (2018-2020), American Board of Artificial Intelligence in Radiology (ABAIR), AMERICAN college of Radiology (ACR) Patient and Family Advisory Council, ACR Appropriateness Criteria Committee, and serves as a Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI) Ambassador. He draws on his technical background in Computer Science as well as professional and personal experiences as he works with the Aidoc team and partners to optimize care pathways. He graduated cum laude with a B.Sc. in computer science from Florida State University.
Efrat Cohen Shalem
VP Human Resources
Efrat Cohen Shalem is Vice President of People (HR) at Aidoc, where she oversees all global aspects of human resource management and is responsible for developing and executing the people strategy in support of the company’s overall business plan.Efrat has extensive experience leading people strategies and incorporating organizational culture into companies and startups. Efrat’s expertise include designing and building HR infrastructures, securing processes to enable the company’s growth and scale, supporting and advising senior management and C-level executives, and creating a culture that embraces all people so everyone feels heard and seen. Efrat holds a BSW in Social Work and an MBA from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
