Learn moreWith automated coronary artery calcification scoring and patient management, Aidoc’s cardiology AI solutions help improve patient outcomes and enhance population health.
Despite its value in assessing cardiovascular risk, coronary calcium scoring is often underutilized. Studies show nearly half of the general population has coronary calcification, yet the majority of incidental cases go unreported by radiologists, meaning patients are lost to follow-up or do not receive appropriate care.

Our AI-powered coronary artery calcification (CAC) measurement algorithm automatically and consistently identifies and measures coronary calcium findings across non-gated, non-constrast CT exams that include the heart. With seamless integration into your EHR via the aiOS™, our CAC Patient Management platform captures patients for follow-up, bridging the gap between incidental findings and timely care.

Analyzes all non-gated, non-contrast CT exams that show the heart

Exclude patients with statin use, known CAD or prior coronary revascularization

Helps improve population health by uncovering previously unknown at-risk patients
Turns incidental CAC findings into meaningful action. By prioritizing critical insights, healthcare providers are empowered to deliver earlier, more effective care.
Our AI accurately measures CAC from imaging, ensuring no significant findings are missed.

AI analyzes radiology reports to identify new patients with elevated CAC, enabling timely follow-up.

Automatically incorporates CAC results into patient reports (optional feature).

Provides focus on patients with the most clinically relevant CAC findings. Screen for existing CAD, statin use and prior coronary interventions.

Clear, concise summaries auto-populate in the dashboard to guide appropriate follow-up and help improve patient care.
Provides automatic and consistent measurement of CAC on non-gated, non-contrast CT exams that contain the heart of patients aged 30+. The Widget displays the degree of calcification and categorizes it into levels corresponding with the Agatston scoring method and categorize it to very low, low, medium or high with the option to create new image series with highlighted calcium areas for easier visualization.

The only AI-powered solution that identifies de novo patients requiring proactive follow-up without disrupting workflows. Early intervention can help improve population health by referring previously unknown at-risk patients for diagnosis and treatment.
Text-based AI finds any mention of CAC in the imaging report while simultaneously reviewing EHR data for clinically relevant information. New patients are added to the CAC Patient Management dashboard where they can be filtered and monitored. The solution also identifies CAC severity and uses it, along with other factors, to refine the patient funnel, enhancing prioritization.

Beyond managing patients with coronary calcification, Aidoc utilizes Us2.ai, a fully automated, FDA-cleared echocardiography solution that empowers a more comprehensive approach to cardiac care.
