SIIM 2025: New Insights, Growing Relationships and Industry Impact

The Society for Imaging Informatics in Medicine (SIIM) 2025 meeting and InformaticsTECH Expo brought industry leaders and up-and-comers together for lively discussions and knowledge sharing around the importance of AI governance, interoperability and the future of multimodal/large language models (LLMs). 

Here’s a bit about how we spent our time in Pittsburgh, and what we learned. 

Aidoc’s New Analytics Solution

SIIM attendees got an exclusive look at our new analytics solution, Aidoc Insights. Aidoc Insights delivers an enterprise-wide view into AI performance, usage and downstream clinical impact metrics for comprehensive, data-driven transparency and governance. We’re excited and encouraged by the positive feedback as we prepare for its launch. 

Panel Discussions

There were several valuable panel sessions throughout the event, including two which highlighted Aidoc’s value and its impact across healthcare organizations. 

  • Aidoc’s Patient Management Solution: During a panel session hosted by Bayer, the question of how operational AI improves clinical outcomes was posed. Ryan Lee, MD, MBA, Chair of the Department of Diagnostic Radiology at Einstein Healthcare Network – Jefferson Health, spoke about the value Aidoc’s Patient Management Solution provides for identifying patients with IVC filters, enabling their Interventional Radiology Department to actively seek out these patients and schedule consults to have their filters removed. 
  • Aidoc’s Radiology Solution: In another panel session hosted by Microsoft, Sean Cleary, MD, Associate Professor at the University of Rochester, spoke about how Aidoc’s Radiology Solution combats backlogs, reduces cognitive load and drives efficiency. From a training and education perspective, also noted Aidoc’s ability to help their residents identify certain pathologies that otherwise would have been missed.
