Explore a comprehensive framework for integrating AI into clinical practice ensuring trust, compliance and real-world impact.
The recent Society of NeuroInterventional Surgery (SNIS) 22nd Annual Meeting in Nashville, was a significant gathering for the neurointerventional community. Aidoc engaged with many professionals dedicated to advancing stroke and neurovascular care.
This year’s meeting, themed “Breaking Down Barriers,” highlighted the latest treatments and device technologies. Discussions emphasized that – while physicians have been integrating AI into neuro workflows for nearly a decade – advanced clinical AI has become a foundational tool for precise, efficient treatment that improves patient outcomes.
SNIS 2025 included numerous sessions about the latest clinical data and strategies for using AI, translating cutting-edge research into real-world impact. For example, the evolving landscape of medium vessel occlusions (MeVOs) was a popular topic this year. Sessions delved into the latest clinical data that indicates no clear benefit for thrombectomy, making many physicians wonder what the best path forward may be.
While ongoing research continues, it’s important to remember that identifying MeVOs is just as important as treatment. While we were at SNIS, we had many conversations about the power of Aidoc’s Full Brain AI Solution, designed to rapidly surface a broader range of patients, encompassing both large vessel occlusions (LVOs) and MeVOs, enabling physicians to make swift, informed treatment decisions. This is crucial because even if a MeVO patient doesn’t proceed to thrombectomy, quickly identifying them allows for the most timely administration of IV thrombolytics, which remains a critical, time-sensitive intervention.
As Aidoc continues to invest in the future of clinical AI, our presence at SNIS 2025 reinforced our commitment to the entire neuro continuum. Our discussions with attendees, coupled with the data presented, supported our vision for Aidoc’s Full Brain AI Solution – our advanced AI platform designed to connect and enhance care across care teams in neurology, neuroradiology, neurointervention and neurosurgery.
We believe that by providing timely, clinically validated insights for conditions like intracranial hemorrhage, vessel occlusion (including MeVOs) and brain aneurysm, we empower multidisciplinary neuro teams to achieve greater diagnostic precision, accelerate decision-making and optimize patient pathways, fostering a unified and efficient approach to neuro care.
We look forward to continuing working together to support a future where every neuro patient receives precise and timely care, enabled by AI technologies. For more information about our Full Brain AI Solution, book a demo.
