About this role

The Clinical Research Analyst will play a crucial role in advancing our clinical research initiatives, focusing on outcomes, patient impact, and leveraging a variety of data sources including rich internal data such as AI image analysis, radiological reports, workflow timestamps, as well as external data such as Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and CMS data. This role involves conducting in-depth analyses to support evidence-based decision-making in clinical research and healthcare delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with clinical research managers to understand project objectives, timelines, and key performance indicators.
  • Collaborate on the design and implementation of clinical research studies, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Develop tools and methodologies to measure the impact of AI to patient outcomes and healthcare economics.

  • Identify and leverage diverse internal data sources, such as AI image based results, NLP results of radiological reports, workflow timestamps, and EMR endpoints, to maximize the depth and relevance of clinical research.
  • Explore opportunities to incorporate external data, including claims, billing and coding data, to provide a comprehensive understanding of the health economic impact of the solutions.
  • Communicate effectively with clinical research managers, presenting findings in a clear and actionable manner.
  • Facilitate knowledge-sharing sessions to ensure insights are disseminated across teams, fostering a collaborative and informed environment.
  • Continuously refine tools and methodologies based on feedback from clinical research managers and evolving project requirements.
  • Stay abreast of advancements in clinical research and propose adjustments to analysis approaches to align with best practices.


Requirements

  • Master's or Ph.D. in Clinical Research, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in developing tools and methodologies for impact measurement in clinical research.
  • Familiarity with advanced technologies, including AI, and their application in clinical research.
  • 3+ years of programming experience in either applied educational or professional projects with commonly used language such as Python, Java, C++
  • Experience with query languages such as SQL.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively.
  • Previous experience in a medical imaging or AI-focused healthcare company is preferred.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality and accuracy.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
