The Sales Engineer is responsible for presenting the technology and capabilities of Aidoc services to existing and prospective customers. They work with the sales team to technically advise on the capabilities and implementation requirements. It is the SE’s responsibility to explain the technical and functional aspects of the Aidoc solution and service. The SE will be deeply knowledgeable on all technical aspects and capabilities of the Aidoc solutions. This ensures a high level of customer satisfaction, as a sales engineer will be prepared for any / all technical issues.

The SE demonstrates the appropriate Aidoc solution features and workflows in the form of customized product demonstrations and proof of concept (POC) evaluations. The SE also educates customers on Aidoc’s professional services offerings and develops statements of work (SOWs) for services engagements. As a senior resource, the SE is expected to act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on all of the Aidoc solutions, or on specific areas of technology.

About this role

  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations explaining products and services to existing and prospective customers
  • Talk with customers and engineers to assess the technical needs and to determine system requirements
  • Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer requirements and provide sales support
  • Plan and modify products to meet customer needs
  • Help clients solve problems with installed solutions
  • Help in researching and developing new products
  • Understand key technical and end user workflow requirements
  • Develop and present appropriate solutions based on Aidoc’s products and services
  • In collaboration with the Aidoc Zone Manager, achieve strategic company objectives and territory revenue goals
  • Provide key enablement services to channel partners and assist them in selling and supporting Aidoc’s products and services
  • Provide trade show and demonstration support for marketing events
  • Research, compose, and deliver responses to RFI/RFP’s
  • Provide input to the business regarding future product features and functionality, industry trends and competition
  • Transition accounts post sale to Aidoc’s Professional Services team

We are looking for

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or in a related technical discipline
  • 5+ years relevant sales engineering, consulting or system integration experience 
    • Expertise in a broad range of applications and technologies including, but not limited to:
    • Microsoft Windows operating systems
    • LDAP-based directory technologies such as Active Directory
    • Application/software virtualization technologies such as Citrix XenApp/XenDesktop, Microsoft Terminal Services and VMware Workstation and View
    • Enterprise and SaaS-based software security technologies
  • Excellent presentation skills and verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience selling to healthcare providers with a focus in diagnostic imaging is strongly desired
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
